I'll be so for real with you:
I didn't finish a single book till March of this year. I beat my 2025 goal of reading more than 16 books. I read a whopping 19, and I'll be going back to give reviews of a lot of them. In the mean time, at my current pace I'd be lucky if I read 5 books come December 2026. Life has been busy, tumultuous, euphoric; I've always struggled with reading as a practice. For me, it's been more of a passion kindled and stoked by inspiration and childlike interest.
Right now that childlike interest is attuned to living life, making magic, and touching grass. What I can build as a practice, however, is reviewing the books I read and writing about tnem here. Each book I finish leaves an impression, and I aim to crystallize that here in my Neurascape.
I'll make no promises on more than 5 books this year, though.
