L'Amour Brûlant | B O A N R IV

Why must it hurt to love?

I call out, my voice a song of sincere inquiry.

It hurts I tell you, but I know it’s love!

Why must every coin have two sides?

My song is a wave that travels out of the Solar System.

The Stars in Andromeda laugh, their incandescence brighten

10 million new pinpricks fill the Night Sky.

They send back a song, a Heavenly Wave:

How do We Burn?

Somewhere on Earth, a children’s choir sings in return:

through fusion!

What Do We Produce?

Warmth. Scorching Heat. Life. Fire at about 5,600 °C.

The answer rings clear to me, a poem from

The Heart of my Inner Child:

from love and pain, may we birth

fear, which burns,

beauty, which heals,

and this i know:

Beauty Is Truth, Truth Beauty,—That is all

Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know."
